Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and WithMe (“we”, “us”) about using the WithMe app and this website. By creating an account, you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information.
Your account
- You must be at least 13, or older if the law where you live requires it.
- Give an email address you can use, and keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
- One account per person, and don't pretend to be someone else.
Your content
Your goals, check-ins, notes, photos and messages stay yours. You give us permission to store them, process them and show them to the people you've chosen to share them with, only so that WithMe can work. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from reports we keep for safety, as the privacy policy describes.
Only post content you have the right to share, and don't post photos of other people without their agreement.
Be kind
WithMe is for supporting the people close to you. Don't use it to:
- harass, threaten, bully or shame anyone;
- post sexual content, violent content, hate, or anything illegal;
- post anything that sexualises or endangers a child;
- send spam, or add people who don't know you;
- break, probe or overload the app or its servers, or get around its privacy and safety controls.
You can mute, block or report anyone from People in the app. We review reports, and we may remove content or suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
Focus, blocking and app time
WithMe gives you tools to spend less time on distracting apps. They rely on features of your phone, such as Android's Usage Access and Accessibility settings or Apple's Screen Time, and they can stop working if those are turned off or changed by your phone. App time is an estimate. Please don't rely on WithMe where missing a block or a reminder could cause harm.
WithMe isn't a medical or mental health service.
Testing and changes
WithMe is free and is still being tested. Features may change, break or be removed, and we may update the app at any time. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
Ending your account
You can delete your account whenever you like, from the app or by asking us. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or if we have to stop running WithMe; where we can, we'll tell you first.
No warranty
WithMe is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we don't promise that it will always be available, accurate or free of errors.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, time or opportunities, arising from your use of WithMe. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or takes away rights you have as a consumer where you live.
